Helping people in Georgia | ASB Foreign Aid

Since the end of 2010, ASB Georgia has carried out projects with funds from the EU, Germany and the US. These projects ranged from disaster risk reduction to social services and support for vulnerable groups. Today, the ASB works with various Georgian organisations to improve the lives of Georgian people and help them become less dependent on other countries.

Remembering the 90s: documentation on the ASB’s engagement in Georgia

In the 1990s, the ASB provided humanitarian aid in several cities in Georgia. The engagement focused on the Samegrelo region with the cities of Poti, Zugdidi and Tsalenjikha. People from the region who were there at the time tell gripping stories about their memories of a difficult time when they received vital help from the ASB. The documentation is rounded off with two videos and an image gallery.
